Leonie started painting in Oils, over 45 years ago with Melbourne artist Robert Anderson, for 20 years. Sold 35 paintings at local Art Shows in Eltham Area. Moving to Gold Coast in 2004 Leonie started to paint in Acrylics with Gold Coast artist Di Shelley Heron. Won People’s Choice Award in the first Art Show entered in Qld. Sold first painting to be sold at Gold Coast Art Awards in 2007. Moved to Sunshine Coast in 2008 and started Art Classes from own Studio at Mt. Coolum. Moved to Mornington Peninsula Dec. 2014. Had classes at Seawinds Community Centre for 18 months. Has been one of the judges for Rose Budding Art Competition for Youth for last 3 years. Leonie loves painting everything from flowers to beach scenes, abstract or traditional. Studio at Capel Sound.
