The Mornington Peninsula is where landscape artist Siobhan Kelley will be found, either roaming the local beaches in search of treasures, painting plein air or at the drawing desk or easel in her studio. Her paintings in oil and acrylic read like a visual diary that records in detail personal experiences of being in and observing the land, nature and surroundings. Kelley has been short listed for a number of art prizes including the Fleurieu Peninsula Water Prize, The Paddington Art Prize, The Mosman Art Prize, The ANL Maritime Art Prize, The City of Albany Art Prize, The Glover Prize, The Cossack Art Award, The Hedland Art Award and most recently the Art Piece Gallery 30×30 Art Prize. Kelley has been an Artist in Residence at The Gate Keepers Cottage, Police Point and The Melbourne Aquarium and has completed a Master of Visual Arts at VCA.
