Kate Carrillo de Albornoz lives on the Mornington Peninsula with her husband and 3 children and is an artist returning to creative work after working and raising a family. Kate completed an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts (Ceramic Design) at Monash University in the 1990s and during that time participated in a number of group exhibitions. She is now focussing on 2D work in Pastels, Oils, and Drawing. Kate is a keen outdoor painter and organises a group that enjoy painting the breathtaking landscapes of the Mornington Peninsula. Kate is also a committee member of Peninsula Art Society and is responsible for the society’s social media which aims to support its members and Art in the wider community of the Mornington Peninsula.
