Rhonda Nadasdy is a ceramic artist and a painter living in the beautiful Yarra Valley. Her greatest inspirations are children’s drawings. She is drawn to the children’s use of vibrant colours, bold lines, peculiar shapes and quirky patterns, all of which communicates to her, a sense of joy, freedom and energy. While Rhonda’s ceramic houses were initially inspired by children’s drawings of the architecture of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, she has developed her own particular vocabulary. This is expressed in the designs of her houses, which maintain the vibrant energy of the children’s artistic expressions.
