I love to “rescue ” old pieces of metal, wire and other household ephemera and give them a new life. My first love was jewellery making but I gradually moved onto creating larger sculptural pieces.

I mainly use wire and embellish with beads, buttons , textiles and a number of other found materials. I enjoy combining objects and materials that are not normally used together. This creates a new visual story with interesting surprises. My methods of construction are simple but requires some thought to achieve the desired results. Most of my materials are sourced from op shops, garage sales and second hand yards.

I like to think of my work as quirky, whimsical and fun. I had my first solo show at 69 Smith Street Gallery in October 2016. I work from my studio in Inverloch in South Gippsland.
