‘Landforms 3’
78cm x 78cm

At nine years of age I received art tuition in Harry McClellands’s studio.I majored in painting for the last two years of secondary school and for three years during teacher training.I taught art as a specialist teacher for three years. My inspiration comes from the landscape and the Australian Outback features significantly in my work.I explore texture, colour and space as an organic representation of geographic landforms.I combine a painterly style with symbolic and figurative forms.Ultimately I hope my work demonstrates a sensitive respect for our environment.
