Lynette Eggleston

Lynette Eggleston lives and works at Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula.  After experiencing many different art forms that include silk painting, screen printing, painting on canvas and growing indigenous plants Lynette’s main focus is now on kiln fired glass. Lynette loves the beautiful colours and the texture of kiln fired glass, and is inspired by her love of nature, the land and ocean.

Each piece is individually crafted, cut from different coloured glass pieces and assembled together and placed in the kiln and fired at high temperatures until the individual glass pieces have melted and fused together to form one piece of glass. The firing process can take up to 24 hrs or longer and sometimes multiple firing are required.
