‘Mr Whippy remembers the Long Summer’

As the sun sets across the bay creating a golden reflection on the water a motley Kombi sits proudly perched high on an old pier. Two boys, one crouching on the Kombi roof, look back towards the coastline remembering the good times they have had on the pier over the long Summer. The welcoming open doors of the Kombi reveal Mr Whippy hiding in the shadows of the bus, another character who has enjoyed the long hot Summer days.
