Bridgit Thomas settled on the Mornington Peninsula after travelling & working around Australia and Europe. She studied Fine Art, majoring in Printmaking at Caulfield Institute of Technology, now Monash Uni.

Her inspiration is found above and below water in both the natural and man made worlds. This includes fish, marine life, botanical, crustaceans, shore life, ships, fishing and sailing vessels, ports, dockyards, and boat building and industrial shipyard scenes.

Bridgit has been working as a full-time Artist since 1990 practicing in watercolour, printmaking and ceramics in her studio overlooking Chainman’s Creek in Capel Sound.
